| 02 : About me |
Hi there! My name is Eric, and I'm currently an active service member in the Army National Guard while completing my final semester as a graduate student at the University of Houston Clear Lake, pursuing a Masters in Software Engineering. With a diverse background spanning the financial services industry, military service, and a robust educational foundation in software development, I bring a unique blend of experience and expertise to the table.
As a passionate Software Engineer, I specialize in developing full-stack applications, dedicating the past four years to mastering software architecture, coding, testing, debugging, and refining applications for optimal performance. Over this time, I've successfully built over 10 applications.
My primary focus lies in creating financial applications and tools that empower users to make informed decisions within the realm of finance. In my professional journey, I've honed crucial skills such as leadership, analytical thinking, and organizational prowess through my roles in the Army. Additionally, my experience as a Financial Advisor has equipped me with the ability to forge strong client relationships, analyze financial portfolios, and offer tailored advice to meet individual needs.
With two Bachelor's degrees—a BBA in Finance and a BS in Management Information Systems — I bring a well-rounded academic background to complement my practical experience. As I transition into the next phase of my career, I am enthusiastic about applying my skills and passion to contribute to innovative projects and collaborate with dynamic teams as a software engineer.
Thank you for considering my candidacy, and I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to discuss how I can contribute to your team.
